We have watched hundreds of hours of natural health videos over the years and about 90% of them have been junk. But every now and again, there is one that sneaks through the cracks and is a real eye opener.

Social media tries to profile their users in an attempt to deliver topics that interest you. The problem is, 90% is junk which means that you have to watch 9 hours of content to find 1 hour of meaty information.

And like most sequels, the first show is brilliant and then the sequels thereafter are again, often junk.

Content providers that make their first releases are normally very good and you start to "follow" them, but then they normally land up being uninformative and trivial when releasing subsequent content - but social media has locked on to your interests and who you follow and continue to waste 90% of your time.

We certainly do not have the capacity to filter and profile content 24/7 from around the globe for this site, but we can certainly offer you a not so perfect human filter of what we think is worth watching.

This is actually an ad but we found the toxin awareness that it invokes is useful and interesting.

This is also an ad but it is not "in your face" and provides good all round awareness for toxins in cosmetics and household cleaning products.

More than 500 products sold to U.S. consumers contain toxic chemicals banned in cosmetics in Japan, Canada or the European Union. This 57 minute video goes through many of our day to day products highlighting the toxic ingredients that we need to be aware of.

This is a fascinating audio clip from the author of "Seeds of Destruction", F. William Engdahl, who makes an appearance at the Vatican to talk about his book and mention some of the background information that he gathered when doing his research.

We have not seen this one yet ... it's on our "To watch list" and we hope to get onto it in the next few weeks (it was recommended to us by one of our visitors) We scanned through it and it seems relevant to our theme - we will just have to adjust our ears for the Irish accent though.
